The Table Pickle

A jar of good for your gut fermented vegetables.

This is the kind of pickling that was done decades ago by our ancestors, which not only preserved the produce but also enhanced its nutritional viability and added to the diversity of our microbiome.

Pickles available on supermarket shelves are often over salted, or preserved in vinegar, and other chemical preservatives or even sugar.

 

Steering away from industrialized rubbish, this ferment is good for you, it adds fibre and good bacteria to your diet, improving immunity, but it takes a little bit more care and time to produce on our part.

 

A variety of these pickles will be added. For now, we are taking pre orders for the next batch of a dozen jars of cucumber pickle and a dozen jars of carrot and turnip pickle.
